A varied, role has arisen for a Senior Copywriter to join one of the South West’s largest brands for a 9-month Fixed Term Contract. Working from home and splitting the role between varied content creation and content strategy, you will have a direct impact on the messaging and engagement for this forward-thinking organisation.
In the role of Senior Copywriter, you will:
- Work closely with the Creative Hub Manager to work on a mix of quick-turnaround customer comms and longer term creative content strategies with the opportunity to flex your creative muscles.
- Have proven experience of creating compelling, engaging, friendly and simple copy for print and digital channels (including, sales collateral; industry guides; news; customer case studies; e-newsletters; web content; video scripts; advertising; social; and email marketing campaigns.
- Craft simple, warm & friendly content that is tailored perfectly to the demographic of the organisation’s varied clientele.
- Play a key role in developing content strategy with a focus on growing engagement across all channels.
We are keen to hear from you if you have:
- Previously worked in an agency setting or fast-paced internal team in a pure Copywriter role.
- Proven experience of producing high-converting content for on and offline marketing activities.
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
- A meticulous eye for detail with good tone of voice and grammar.
- Confidence maintaining high editorial standards across all content outputs, ensuring consistency and accuracy from start to finish.
- Recent experience from an agency or internal agency environment.
The role of Senior Copywriter:
As the Senior Copywriter, you will be part of a remote team of six with daily meetings and regular brainstorming sessions ensuring a collaborative and supportive working environment. You will relish taking a brief and developing creative and engaging content. Content will be diverse, including (but not limited to) customer letters, scripts for radio, informative leaflets, safety announcements, email campaigns, social campaigns and web content.
From November, you will need to be in Reading 1-2 days a week for meetings with the rest of your time working from home.
