Join the talented merchandising team of this multinational online retailer that dominates multiple sectors through the operation of three separate brands spanning the UK and Europe. In this hybrid role, you will be leading merchandising activities for one of the brands. This brand celebrates diversity and an eclectic range of global cultures, offering distinctive and unique homewares, gifting, furniture, jewellery, and fashion to loyal and growing customer base.
As Merchandiser your responsibilities will include:
- Managing stock withing KPI targets including OTB, in stock %, back-order targets, and clearance of stock.
- Ensuring products & prices are set up correctly and on time.
- Managing the Direct Despatch system, ensuring it works effectively.
- Performing full sales performance analysis, implementing actions on findings, achieving targeted KPIs through optimisation.
- Conduct selecting and forecasting.
- Manage quarantine stocks, supplier invoices, and POs.
- Providing merchandising guidance to team members.
- Manage supplier, internal, and external stakeholder relationships.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous Head Office merchandising experience, ideally in homewares, jewellery or fashion.
- A logical and numerate approach to data insight, with the creative flair to understand the homeware and fashion audiences.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong merchandising system skills, ideally Maginus.
The role itself:
A rare opportunity to join a well-established team, this is a fantastic role for an individual with proven merchandising experience to step into a passionate, collaborative team. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager and working with the wider team, you will be responsible for maximising sales and profit to ensure the continued growth of the brand through accurate forecasting & planning. You will work closely with your counterpart in the Buying team to ensure stock availability and sales performance across all 5 categories.
