Our well-established client, a fascinating business who offer a wide portfolio of L&D products, are looking for a confident Key Account Manager to join their sales team. This role is working in the Health Sector so we would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have worked in Business Development or Account Management roles within this market.
The client is happy for someone to be based from home, but be willing to travel to the Head office in Swindon when required. They role offers good base salary, commission opportunities and a car allowance.
The Key Account Manager will drive new business opportunities for the company, as well as nurturing existing key accounts, with the aim to optimise sales revenue through increased membership uptake. Encouraging collaboration via both phone, email and in person, you will carry the confidence to enquire about optimising opportunities, using your initiative to seek out how a partnership with the brand will benefit a solution to the potential client’s business plans.
To be considered for the role of Key Account Manager, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to interact with clients at all levels of business
- Demonstrable experience of establishing contacts and developing high value relationships at Director and or C-Level in organisations and or channel partners.
- Strong influencing, negotiation and persuasion skills – with a ‘quality over quantity’ mentality
- Outstanding time management with the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships
- Articulate and confident, with a professional consultative approach
