The Accounts Assistant will take responsibility for:
- Processing and controlling the Cash Books, Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
- Undertaking credit control and debt collection, as required.
- Invoicing, direct debit collection, bank reconciliations, petty cash, debtor reporting,
- Acting as the first point of contact for accounting queries from internal & external stakeholders.
- Ensuring accurate financial records on accounting software and Excel.

- Have recent experience as an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant position, or similar.
- Are AAT 3 qualified or have proven experience to an equivalent level.
- Have advanced Excel skills - pivot table, V Lookups etc.
- Have a full UK Driving Licence (essential due to a remote office location).
- Are a positive, driven individual who takes pride in their work and the role it plays within a wide organisation.
The role:
As Accounts Assistant, you will act as number 2 to the Head of Finance within a small team and take daily responsibility for the administrative running of the Finance function. You will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all different levels and from all different backgrounds. You will take pride in the work that you do and appreciate the value that it adds to what, which the business undertakes across the UK. Ultimately, you will be hardworking, friendly and place a real focus on having a positive impact on your team and the wider business.
