Niche Recruitment is supporting an innovative engineering business in Witney to recruit an Engineering Project Manager to join a fast-paced team delivering highly complex engineering programmes.
You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, getting into the detail of live projects and bringing the structure, planning and project discipline needed to turn fast-moving engineering activity into successful delivery.
The environment is agile, technically challenging and moves quickly. Priorities can change, deadlines are demanding and you’ll need to be someone who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves, identifying what needs to happen next and making sure it gets done.
Based in Witney, Oxfordshire, this permanent, full-time position is primarily site-based and offers a competitive salary depending on experience. Key Responsibilities
- Drive the day-to-day project management and delivery of complex engineering projects.
- Building and maintaining project plans, Gantt charts, milestones and actions.
- Managing risks, dependencies, decision logs and change control.
- Tracking budgets, resources, timescales and delivery.
- Working closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
- Identifying blockers and driving actions through to completion.
- Keeping project documentation and reporting clear, accurate and up to date.
- Helping engineering teams deliver against demanding deadlines.t engineering leadership in keeping technically demanding projects moving at pace.
Skills & Experience
- Experience as an Engineering Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Project Engineer or Engineering Project Lead.
- A strong engineering or technical grounding.
- Experience delivering complex engineering, manufacturing or product development projects.
- Strong project planning, risk, budget and change management skills.
- Someone who is hands-on, proactive and delivery focused.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Experience within defence, aerospace, automotive, motorsport or advanced engineering would be highly relevant.
