We’re searching for an Ecommerce Executive to join our established client, based in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Offering a competitive salary and hybrid working, this is an ideal opportunity for an Ecommerce professional looking to elevate their career.
Joining on a 12-month maternity cover contract to start ASAP, you will play a key role in the team and therefore previous Ecommerce experience is essential. From product merchandising to championing email campaigns, this is a varied and dynamic role with the opportunity to get creative and use a data driven approach to improve and refine campaigns.
Please note that you will require a driving licence and vehicle due to the rural location of the office.
As Ecommerce Executive, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the three brand’s UK websites, with the support of the Ecommerce Manager.
- Ensuring the websites are merchandised effectively to reflect brand values and optimise sales.
- Managing product merchandising including attribute data, product categorisation and liaising with the Buying Team to build import files.
- Managing the online photography process, collaborating with the external freelancer to create seasonal product imagery.
- Overseeing the Copy and Content Executive, to ensure product copy is written to deadlines.
- Managing email campaigns from conception to execution alongside an external creative freelancer.
- Managing the email marketing calendar, ensuring all campaigns are completed within deadlines. Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager to deliver effective strategies.
- Successfully tracking the performance of marketing email campaigns, interpreting results and amending email strategy when necessary.
- Working alongside the Ecommerce Manager to execute the content strategy and deliver engaging campaigns for the target audience.

- Previous Ecommerce experience.
- Previous email marketing experience and best practice principles.
- Understanding of CRM systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Efficient planning and project coordination skills.

More about the role:
As Ecommerce Executive, you’ll receive support from external freelancers and the Ecommerce Manager to execute exciting Ecommerce projects and collaborate with the wider marketing team to drive online sales.
Managing the brands’ UK websites, you’ll get creative working alongside the freelance photographer, collaborating to ensure products have seasonal captivating imagery that entices customers and drive sales. With multiple product launches per year, you’ll be at ease liaising with the wider team to build import files, attribute data and ensure product copy is accurate.
Supported by the Ecommerce Manager and wider marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of email marketing strategy, a crucial aspect of the company’s marketing strategy. You’ll be in charge of ensuring campaigns are executed flawlessly and on-time, continuously analysing their performance to make improvements.
