Our client, an established wealth management company, is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join their business systems function. This hands-on contract role focuses on providing 2nd and 3rd line support for a suite of production-level applications that underpin core operations including client onboarding, partner data, and management reporting. You’ll work alongside collaborative support teams to ensure these systems run smoothly, securely and with maximum availability.
Based in Cirencester, this is a full-time, 6-month contract working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The role offers £20 per hour plus holiday pay, with a mid-February start date. Ideal for someone with strong SQL skills, and experience working with AWS and Salesforce in an SLA-driven support environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd / 3rd line application support for business-critical systems
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents within SLA targets
- Use SQL and existing scripts to analyse data issues and system behaviour
- Work closely with internal technology teams to escalate or resolve complex issues
- Contribute to a strong team culture and share knowledge across the support function
- Ensure high availability and performance of production systems
Skills & Experience:
- Proven application support experience (2nd or 3rd line)
- Strong SQL knowledge – ability to query, analyse, and validate data confidently
- Experience supporting data-driven, business-critical applications
- Comfortable working in a structured support environment with SLAs
- Salesforce platform or support experience is desirable
- Exposure to AWS or cloud-hosted environments is an advantage
