We are recruiting a talented individual to join the newly created Customer Transformation team, working in a highly respected and valued organisation, who are leading the way in digital first customer communications. This is a home-based role with occasional travel to the Head Office. In the team responsible for the management of the customer transformation portfolio, you will be working directly within a key business area as a Transformation Business Partner to define transformation requirements and create a plan to reach desired outcomes. You will draw upon your practical experience in managing Agile Project Teams, programme management, operating model design and implementation to drive projects forward for the organisation to help them realise their goals.
A day in the life as a Portfolio Delivery Manger will include:
- Assess transformation needs and create an agreed roadmap with your colleagues to create clear and effective transformation plans.
- Communicate project visions, goals and target dates of projects and programmes to project managers.
- Agree realistic plans that follow the strategy and roadmap as you work closely with the Value Realisation Manager.
- Monitor and manager through the end-to-end process, identifying opportunities to add benefits through the life of a project.
- Consistently drive to improve performance of the projects.
- Ensure all transformation effort aligns with Customer and Digital first strategy.
- Working closely with partners to plan and report on the delivery of their transformation portfolios.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Transformation/Programme Management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodology.
- Experience with portfolio management, programme management, Continuous Improvement & Operating model design and implementation.
- Experience working in dispersed, high performing and Agile teams.
- A strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to push your points.
The role itself:
Help create innovative and effective transformation programmes for a key business area within a company that is invested in dramatic digital transformation. Working closely with the Project Managers, you will work in a team utilising Agile methodology that manages the customer transformation portfolio – all the way from conception to completion. With clear communication skills, you will work with stakeholders within a key business area to assess their needs and create a programme of activity and deliverables to help them reach their goals.
